The State Employees Credit Union announced the expansion of the bank’s Dunn branch, located at 200 Tilghman Drive.
The expansion will include the addition of eight offices, an expanded members services support center, a second CashPoints ATM, improved traffic flow and an overall upgrade of the branch facility.
The project will be completed in three phases. Phase one, which is currently in progress, will consist of the expansion, improved traffic flow and the ATM machine installation.
The entire project will last eight months with completion estimated for September of this year.
“The expansion of the Dunn branch is needed due to our continued growth in the area,” said Kevin Watson, senior vice president and local bank manager. “With the additional office space and a second ATM we will be positioned to continue to meet the needs of the community. We look forward to the completion of the project and appreciate the understanding of our members as we progress through this project.”
The Dunn branch was opened in January of 1986 and moved to its current facility in November of 1999. The branch currently staffs 43 employees, services eight ATM’s and serves a local membership base of over 18,000 individuals.
